I played in Poland for the first time last June 2005 with Gizelle & Saverio 303 & had a great time, so I was delighted when the gang at KO Bookings booked me to come back and play at Club Ego in Katwoice again & at a new club for me, Club Iskra in Swidvik near Lublin!

How exciting!!

The first night at Club Ego was great, a few people had emailed my website before I went to Poland so I finally got to meet them & that was really nice. Unfortunately there was another big party on that night so the club wasn’t so busy but the people that did come were there to do some serious dancing & partying! I played a 2 hour pumping full on tough techno set after Dj She Shu, who did a great debut set!

Club Ego is a wicked little basement club & bar & the people that run it, Gogo, Agneaska & Mylo lookalike are such nice people, infact everyone I met in Poland was soo so nice to me & so kind & friendly, such a change from London! I really enjoyed GoGo’s set at the end but I had to leave as I was exhausted.

The next night was the party at Club Iskra, so I travelled with Dj Siasia, his girlfriend Karoline & polish producer “South” on the 5.5hours train journey to Lublin! I don’t think I’ve ever spent that long on a train before but it went pretty fast actually as I was in good company & did manage to catch a few hours sleep which was great!

It was really freezing when we got to Lublin!!! Yikes, winter is def coming! The minute I walked into Club Iskra I knew it was going to be an excellent party! It was 11pm & the dance floor was very busy with people dancing like mad! You could really feel the energy in the club & I couldn’t wait to get on the decks! The dj before me – Chris K (I think) had a similar style to me & had the crowd really revved up so I just kept the music pumping and building all the time! High energy techno music for high energy people!!

Unfortunately not every gig you play as a Dj will be great or enjoyable but during my set I thought to myself...

Yeah this is what it’s all about, this makes up for all the not so great gigs, the people here were FANTASTIC!! They were really feeling the music which made me feel it even more, so much fun & I really didn’t want to stop playing!

I was jumping around dancing like mad behind the decks & sweating loads as usual & got a huge cheer when I had finished! So cool! I got to meet some really nice people after I finished playing and had a great time on the dancefloor dancing to Dj Siasia’a great Electro –Tek set. Great! When Siasia was finished his set at 4am we had to leave & catch the 5am train back to Katwoice where I was picked up & brought to the airport & flew back to London… hardcore travelling!

I really can’t wait to play Poland again as the people are so great!!
